In 2020 our 13th Lindley Carnival will take place on  Saturday 27th June and we hope that it will be the best yet. As in the past there will be games, rides, food stalls and much more. There is also a musical treat this with the Lindley Junior School choir performing as well as Lindley Infant School Choir.

The carnival is always well attended by the local community and a good family fun day is enjoyed by all. We have good representation from the local schools and churches and they provide stalls, refreshments and entertainment. Local businesses are also in good attendance with many supporting the prize draws and having their own stalls on the day.
There has often been a theme to the carnival, this year we are celebrating musical talent in Lindley and Armed Forces Day. This year the carnival will again be on the same day as Armed Forces Day and we will be celebrating this at the carnival. Always at the heart of it is providing entertainment for families and children and young people.

I have been fortunate enough to be involved with the carnival since the beginning and the community group that support the organisation. The carnival group work really hard and can be very proud of what has been achieved over the last nine years. Work takes place by the community group all year round to make the carnival the best it can be.

As always a big thank you to all the local businesses, sponsors and volunteers who without them the carnival would not be the success that it is.

Once again we are hoping for a good day for the carnival and people can come and enjoy the day as part of a weekend of activities taking place in Lindley.
